"This was a great stay for the night before hiking the west highland way. Although the outside and adjoining facilities look rundown, the room itself was very pleasant, and the check-in staff were friendly, warm, and inviting. Best bedding of the entire trip!"

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "This was a lovely peaceful place to stay. The house felt like a home and had everything we needed. We were pleased we had a car, it would’ve been difficult to access the property without one. It was only a short drive to the shops to get supplies. Tay cottage was private. We enjoyed sitting in the spa and looking out onto a paddock of sheep and the towns in the distance . We’d definitely come back if we had the opportunity."
